A Fabulous You Seminar

Our first seminar, held last year, was a great success where the chance to really teach women about fashion came alive. The activities and empowering discussion allowed so many opportunities for real women to discuss throwing out the hype, unhealthy fashion, and how to get down to being fabulous. It was an enjoyable experience to answer questions about topics like, "What color palette am I?", "What is my body type?", "What is organic fabric?", and of course to also try on the organic makeup. Northeast Florida Veg Fest

What can we say, the Northeast Florida Veg Fest was a blast! We met so many people, some already educated on the importance of choosing organic fabric and some who were eager to learn about the services that Silver Needle & Thread provides. Patricia Davis was a speaker and gave an exceptional piece on Dressing to Save your Life, about the Positive Impact Organic Fashion and Organic Lifestyle Can Have on Your Life.

First...

We will be partnering with Girls Gone Green & Riverside Arts Market to bring a new and innovative Fashion Show to Northeast Florida. The Organic Style Unveiled Fashion Show will be on May 3rd.

Let's Talk Sustainability Recently, I served on a Sustainability Panel hosted by Fashion Group International North Florida.  The panel consisted of a member from the Florida EPA Division, a Beauty expert, a Blogger and me. I love having the opportunity to talk with like minded movers and shakers, who have a genuine passion, drive and concern for what our future holds in the mist of a toxic chemical saturated society of over consumption and waste.  Needless to say the house was full and we went way over the time, but no one cared.
